I am a writer, photographer, videographer, and designer whose curiosity and passion for storytelling are always at the heart of my artistic practice. My aim is to immerse the audience in the stories, experiences, and journeys of others, as well as conveying a strong sense of place and history in the narrative. I believe everyone has a tale to tell, and enjoy delving below what on the surface may appear mundane to discover the extraordinary.

I have a curiosity for all that is strange and unusual and I find myself fascinated by anything that challenges my perception of the world. This curiosity is at the heart of the stories I love to write and the subjects I love to explore.

Creatively I seek to look beneath the surface or between the lines and finding art in the everyday, connection in moments, and expression in detail.  As a photographer I'm most interested in the lyrical and poetic aspects of image and composition, whatever the subject. I also look for the narrative or story when composing an image, whether the subject is landscape, still-life, nature or portrait.

A black and white photograph focusing on a pair of open hands cradling a delicate, fluffy white object that resembles a pair of angel wings. Lee D Munro's face is visible in soft focus in the background, looking down gently at their hands against a dark backdrop.
A black and white photograph in a Polaroid-style frame showing a man with wavy hair in profile, smiling as he holds a camera up to his eye to take a picture. Bare, wintry trees are softly visible in the background, and a piece of tan tape secures the top right corner of the frame.
